Shroom
Shroom is one of the characters you can meet on station. She needs to be unlocked first before you are able to play as her.
I was pretty small when we came here, fleeing the war... I did a little bit of everything, but ended up being the undertaker. Funny, you know? I was mostly doing embalming and really strong perfumes because you know dead bodies, in the heat... I felt useful; helping people say goodbye to friends and all that. But then I went on this crazy last-chance run to help Viggie get the Reloader working! It's great, because nobody dies anymore, but no more deaths means I'm pretty useless. At least I have my plants, my besties. They never comment or complain or make fun of how short you are! And I hear there's a Devotion Garden! It must be amazing... all the plants and the scents. If I was brave, badass, and respected, like Zed, I would go there and check it out. You know what? I will! Next time she goes there, I go!

Stats at Level 1:

With leveling up, Shroom gets the following stats incresed: Health (+5%/level), Defense (around +2.8%/level), Wit (+1/level).
Abilities
Active - Soul Patch
Throws a Soul to heal targeted Hero.
Just sharing good vibes with my buds.
Ultimate - Special Mix
Creates an aura of healing and protection around this Hero. (prevents knockout)
Special. And secret. And possibly illegal.
Passive - Wincense!
Generates a Soul every time this Hero kills 10 monsters. (5 Souls at the beginning)
Don't think of them as souls... more like... auras.
Quests
1st Quest
- Complete the first Zone of the Devotion Garden District on Floor 1 in a squad that includes Zed
- Reward: 2 Cells + Hero Chip slot
2nd Quest
- Complete any District on Floor 1 without using a single Medkit
- Reward: 3 Cells + Hero Chip slot
3rd Quest
- Reach a minimum of 13 Food production per door (any difficulty)
- Reward: 4 Cells + Hero Chip slot + New Beverage Recipe (Medkit Megashare)
4th Quest
- Enable Shroom's new Beverage and get the squad to the final Core District, on Floor 4
- Reward: 5 Cells + Special Hero Skin
Hero Specific Upgrades
- Soul Pouch - +2 Soul max stock
- Learning the Trade - +50% efficiency on Active Skill and Ultimate Skill
- Combat Medic - +25% Speed when an other Hero has low Health
- More with Less - +200% efficiency on Active Skill and Ultimate Skill, -50% Soul max stock
- Buddy Bolster - +50% Defense to Hero targeted by Active Skill
- Green Shroom Burner - +50% efficiency on Ultimate Skill
Hero Chips
Hero Chips are upgrades you can buy for your heroes at the Workstation (talk to Comrade). In order to buy them you will need Cells. There are more advanced Chips that will be unlocked with an Upgrade to the Saloon
