Upgrade Terminals

In your runs, you may find Upgrade Terminals that allow Heroes to level up. These require Food and grant you effects ranging from basic stat increases to strong effects tailored towards your specific Hero. These Level Perks are only active during your run and are lost on defeat or victory (unlike Hero Chips). Normal upgrades (white) are accessible to any Hero, Hero upgrades (golden) are unique to a given Hero.

By default at Hero level 1, Normal upgrades cost 30 Food, Hero upgrades cost 40 Food. As Heroes level up, the cost of every upgrade is increased by 10 Food/Level.
Hero upgrades are available at all levels, but Normal Upgrades are devided in two categories: Common upgrades are available at level 1-3, Specific upgrades are available at level 4 and up.

Skedaddle Speed +25% Speed when Health lower than 33%
Slow and Steady Bonus Critical +30% Critical Chance, -10% Fire Rate
The More the Merrier Shove Damage +30% Shove Damage per monster in room
Thunder and Lightning Bonus Elemental Affinity Increases Elemental Power of Light and Electrical Damage
Unforgivable Bonus Fire Rate +15% Fire Rate, -20% Defense
Vamos Speed +15% Speed
Whiplash Defense +15 Return Damage

Charmed Life Defense When no Damage received for 4s, reduces next hit taken to 1 Attack Damage
Concentrated Wit +8 Wit when no other Hero in room, -8 Wit when other Hero in room
Desperado Bonus Fire Rate +15% Fire Rate when Health lower than 50%
Explosive Energy Bonus Critical +20 Critical chance when at full Health
Eye for an Eye Defense +80% Return Damage

Hitting the Spot Shove Damage Heals 3 Health when shoving monsters

Iron Horse Health +50% Health Max, -100% Knockback

One Step Ahead Wit +10% Speed per 6 Wit
Outta My Face Bonus Knockback +20% Knockback, +40% Knockback on Turrets in same room
Pain, Killed Health Using a Medkit also grants for 15s: +20% Attack Damage, +50% Shove Damage
Perfect Execution Bonus Critical Shove attack uses Critical Chance
Power of One Bonus Elemental Affinity Increases Elemental Power when no other Hero in room
Quick and Dirty Bonus Fire Rate +30% Fire Rate, -20% Attack Damage
Slither Speed +20% Speed when not firing, performing a Shove, or taking Damage
Soloist Bonus Elemental Affinity Increases Elemental Power when no Turret in room
