Zed
That festival was epic squared! You haven't lived until you've seen Skulltaker play "Cuttlefish of Judgment" live. The universe doesn't need peace and love, kids; just more guitars. Unfortunately, the squad was pretty out of it when we returned to the ship; nobody was piloting and we barely even realized it when the Station grabbed us. Great. Now I'm stuck here listening to alt folk rock! Okay, the food is no worse, but I'll tell you, I am not planning to spend my days this way. Down there are ruins, monsters, loot... stuff to discover that hasn't been seen since the Endless contradicted their name! As long as I'm here, I'm gonna do whatever I can to make it interesting. I've done enough runs to know you don't survive without building turrets, so you need the resource generators to collect them. Hmmm. That makes me think of a nice, hardcore challenge...

Abilities
Active - Sonic Boom
Fires a powerful sonic wave to damage monsters.
Zed is very familiar with miliraty grade speakers.
Ultimate - Death metal
Blast power chords that weaken nearby monsters and boost Heroes.
When a crowd goes crazy, it's good to be with a friend.
Passive - Mad Shred
Temporarily increases damage each time a monster is killed by this Hero.
Think of it as thrash-speed air guitar, but with bullets.
Quests
1st Quest
- Complete the first Zone of any Floor 1 District without losing a Resource Generator or ongoing Research.
- Reward: 2 Cells + Hero Chip slot
2nd Quest
- Defeat the "Shelldiver" Blob boss in the Procedural Factory District on Floor 2.
- Reward: 3 Cells + Hero Chip slot
3rd Quest
- Gather 600 Scraps.
- Reward: 4 Cells + Hero Chip slot
4th Quest
- Defeat the "Red Dead Eye" Bots boss in the Security Vault District on Floor 2.
- Reward: 5 Cells + Special Hero Skin
Hero Specific Upgrades
Hero Upgrades are upgrades that are upgrades that you unlock in-game during levelling up. They do not persist in-between the runs.
- Getting Stoked - +25% efficiency on Passive Skill
- Moar Metal - +50% Attack Damage on Active Skill
- Purity of the Sound - +20% Fire Rate, -10% Critical Chance
- Riff Rebound - +7% Attack Damage for 5s per monster hit by Active Skill
- Think Less Party More - +25% Attack Damage, -2 Wit
- Thrasher - +25% Fire Rate, -25% Health Max
Hero Chips
Hero Chips are upgrades you can buy for your heroes at the Workstation (talk to Comrade). In order to buy them you will need Cells. There are more advanced Chips that will be unlocked with an Upgrade to the Saloon
